Behold The 2015 Dodge Challenger RT Shaker

It’s no secret that one of the biggest appeals of the Dodge Challenge is its menacing appearance.

Sure, some might say it’s overweight, and hard to see out of the cockpit, but so was the F-4 Phantom. It got the job done! People dig the Challenge too because the designers have managed to retain the looks of its 1970s for-bearers.

It advances but manages to create excitement for a look and feel consumers admire.

In times past, one of the most prominent features of the old, E-body Challengers was its “Shaker” scoop.

It looked cool, but served its purpose of funneling air directly to the engine’s V-E intake. When the engine revved up, pulses raced and the scoop visibility shook. Dodge has brought back the Shaker addition and will not limit production.

The gear box of the 2015 Dodge Challenger RT Shaker, manual transmission, is easy to navigate. Shifts are short and firm. There’s no punishment in stop-and-go traffic. When accelerating, the engine sounds menacing.

The lowest priced Shaker has a price tag of around $37,000, and houses a 375-hp 5.7 liter Hemi.
