Two Porsche speedsters battle it out when a Porsche Carrera GT vs Porsche 918 Spyder. Well, it looks like it’s supposed to be a dual, but the Carerra GT gets left behind in the dust. It could simply be that the driver has a slower reaction off the starting block. The Spyder usher in a whole new look and design for what was supposed to follows as the super sports car.

The Spyder made its debut at the 80th Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. The vehicle is powered by a V8 engine that puts out 608 HP. It also has two electric motors which can add an additional 280 HP. It’s top speed is around 210 mph. Needless to say, the car has a lot of spunk. The Carrera is no slouch. However, its HP maxes at about 605. On a racetrack, HP can make all the difference in the world. So, maybe the Carerra driver wasn’t sluggish after all. Maybe it was “less” HP. It’s your call.
