There’s nothing funny in the video, but it remains a concern that there are people who may be too aged to drive on the road. Accidents happen, and they happen to people who are adept at driving and fully cognizant of what’s happening on the road around them. There are a number of reasons that seniors often pose a risk behind the wheel. Age is a big factor. Eyesight fails and many seniors simply don’t have the same standard of vision they had years ago. Their reflexed slowed considerable, and their reaction time is a fraction of what it might have been.
Many seniors have actually shrunk in size. It’s almost impossible for them to see over the dashboard at an advanced age. And it’s extremely difficult for some to turn their head to look over their shoulder. You hear, on occasion, that a senior has driven directly into a crowd of innocent people standing on a corner.
