Self-driving cars have run over journalists, have crashed on roads, gotten stuck in reverse, and been hacked into. It\u2019s technology that\u2019s too up close and personal. Who\u2019s to say that some agency or group won\u2019t program these vehicles to actively spy on people in ways never imagined. Everything that a person says or does in such a vehicle can be collected as Big Data.<\/p>\n
Where you drive, how long it takes you to get to work, if you smoke etc., is data that can be collected to determine health insurance or driver insurance rates. And that\u2019s just the tip of the iceberg. Who\u2019s to say when some unknown entity is listening in on your private conversations? Like millions of other people, it\u2019s your call.
