It\u2019s generally agreed that there are eight racing cars that changed everything. The #8 spot goes to the Jaguar C Type with disc brakes. The #7 position is owned by the Jaguar D due to amazing performance and an aerodynamic chassis.<\/p>\n<p>The Cooper T43, #6, is significant due to its engine design. Brabham BT45 takes the #5 spot with its carbon brakes. The Audi Quattro 4-wheel drive takes the #4 spot. The McLaren MP4\/1 is #3 with its carbon fibre chasis. The car was light and rigid; increasing crash survival rates. The #2 position is held by the Panoz Q9 (hybrid power). It was ahead of its time. The #1 spot goes to Spark-Renault SRT_01E.
