The Lake Geneva Winter Fest looks like it might be an interesting place to have fun during the winter season. However, watching cars sink through the ice makes you wonder about a few things. Sure, it\u2019s a challenge, but if a car falls through the ice there\u2019s a disaster waiting to happen on the other side of all the so-called fun and anticipation. Those are not the kind of odds that most people want to tempt. It\u2019s not hard to understand that some people brave the ice for a living\u2014Ice Road Truckers. No one can argue that these people are a whole different breed.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s all about perfect timing. The challenge at Lake Geneva is to let the ice melt just enough so that it\u2019s anyone\u2019s guess if a vehicle will make it across the lake. It\u2019s crazy, but you have to give props to anyone brave enough to make the run. Not to sound the \u201cdoom\u201d alarm, but sooner or later someone\u2019s luck will run out.<\/p>\n
