Cars crash, trucks crash, motorcycles crash, and drag racers crash. Good advice, \u201cStay back.\u201d These crashes are dangerous, and it takes a pro to walk away in one piece. The side rails may not look strong, but they can take an amazing beating. Some, make it all the way down the track and crash while putting on the brakes, which seems to be the case, more often, when a chute isn\u2019t deployed. Some drag racers look as if they\u2019re going to overturn out of the block. Again, it seems to happen when the brakes are applied. <\/p>\n
Notice how the maintenance crew speeds out to a crash. That takes guts as well. There could be an explosion so they\u2019re risking their lives as well. All cars that can clock 150 mph are required to have and use parachutes. Sometimes, chutes fail to deploy when they haven\u2019t been used. Check out the videos.
