Everybody is into recycling these days, and for good reason.<\/p>\n<p>Old batteries can also make you some extra cash. Before you take your items to the scrap metal yard, take time weight everything. A bathroom scale will do. Also, make sure you write down the different types of metals you\u2019re scrapping on a piece of paper, like iron, steel, copper, or aluminum. You can also recycle your old oil.
