The host in this video makes a good point. Mechanics are thought of as gearheads and grease monkeys etc., but one thing you don\u2019t hear a lot is \u201cfemale mechanic.\u201d There just don\u2019t seem to be a lot of them around. That could be chancing though. Check out this woman, she\u2019s sharp. She even sounds like she knows what she\u2019s doing. Now contract to the average guy mechanic! She almost sounds like a professor giving a college lecture. That\u2019s a good thing. She got motivated to be a mechanic from having been taken advantage of.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s unfair but there is an underlying assumption that women can\u2019t handle the job as well as men. That\u2019s changing in the world. There are amazing women welders, fighter pilots, vehicle mechanics, trucker drivers, and others who represent a whole slew of professions. In fact, they\u2019re raising the standard in smarts and customer service. Check out the video.
