There are many reasons why it turns on, but one thing is certain: it will be annoying until it is turned off. If you can not afford a scanner tool or a mechanic to disable the light for you, this video shows a free and easy way to get the light off until you can find a more permanent solution.<\/p>\n<p>It is so simple to do that the video is only around a minute long. Anyone with just a few tools should be able to follow the steps and turn their own check engine light off. Keep in mind that this is only a temporary solution.
