In this classic 1969 Plymouth Satellite TV commercial, an aerial camera, as if recording from a satellite, slowly zooms in on a western-themed town as a coyote cries out.<\/p>\n<p>The narrator asks if the viewer wants a &#8220;Straight shooting deal on a new car&#8221; as the camera continues to zoom and then reveals that a Plymouth Satellite is on display in the interior of the Saloon. The narrator then tells the viewer that Plymouth is offering a &#8220;Hot Line Special&#8221; for 17 vehicles, including 45 percent off the Plymouth Satellite, during the &#8220;BoomTown &#8217;69&#8221; event being held by Plymouth dealers.<\/p>\n<p>This reference to westerns in 1969 wasn&#8217;t merely because of overall trends through the years.
