Volvo says that its FMX is one of the toughest vehicles that it has ever built. Little \u201cSophie\u201d is at the helm as she takes over the driving duties with her remote control in hand. The testing ground is a gravel filled pit with obstacles placed strategically. Volvo\u2019s truck features a unique cage construction, cast-iron front plus corners and a skid plate made of high-grade steel. This is a tough truck indeed, and Sophie turns out to be the ultimate test.<\/p>\n
Sophie is cute as a bug. She stumbles on the first obstacle, a swinging crate, but quickly recovers. She maneuvers trough light explosives, a shallow lake, and puts the skid plate through its paces. Amazingly, the truck survives. This truck is built tough and the kid at the wheel is an impressive sell. There\u2019s a \u201cKodak\u201d moment where Sophie rolls the truck.
