Some viewers might scratch their heads a little as they try to understand the runners in white, black-striped team outfits who appear throughout the commercial, but make no mistake: They fit into the overall theme created by Ford at the time that these vehicles were “ready to fly any time you are.”
In fact, it is not clear at the beginning, but if you check the 8-second mark, you will see that the cars are stored in a plane hangar. The team drives them down airport runways and not a highway.
