The 2015 LA Auto Show is always a blast, but there critics will always have a best and worst showing list to share. Convertibles appear to making a comeback and Mazda’s MX-5 Miata and Fiat’s 124 Spider made serious waves at the show. Vehicles are trending lighter, which means less complications. Power to weight ratio is fantastic in these lighter models. Audi and Mercedes are worth mentioning as well. However, the general consensus is that the show was lacking in “wow.”
The vehicles shown will no probably sell in bulk. Other shows, like the Detroit Auto Show, usually feature vehicles that will be seen in numbers on America’s roads. LA usually sets the trends, but what’s feature at the city’s shows is decided will in advance. Perhaps 2016 will take a different approach. We’ll see. Check out the video. There are still some great vehicles to peep.
