While it’s hard to tell what’s being towed, you know these trucks are towing some serious tonnage. It looks like the load engineers are working overtime on these loads. Have you ever thought of what happens to the pavement when this much weight is hauled? At 2:10, there’s another heavy load being pulled. What’s in that truck…a locomotive engine? Another question! How far can such loads be towed? Or, why not disassemble, and then reassemble the truck once it has reached its destination? Would it be safer? Your guess is as good as ours. At 3:23, there’s a convoy moving slowly down the road with a heavy load.
Again, these loads are so long that it’s hard to imagine any turning radius—just straight road ahead. This one looks like the machinery load apparatus is actually heavier than the load being hauled. At first glance, it looks like an open California road. At 7:20 this truck is faced with a wicked turn. Will it make it? Check out the video.
