No one should really have to ask the question, let alone answer it. It’s sexist at the core. However, the good news is that women, scientifically proven, are actually better drivers than men. According to a 2012 study, men are responsible for more traffic violations in every category. Speeding, and failure to yield are just several findings on a long list. Eighty percent of all fatal car crashes are caused by men.
As far as DUI, male drivers outnumber female drives three-to-one.
Females are 66 percent more likely to wear a seatbelt. Men are also more likely to drive on a suspended license. Men happen to be worse night drivers too. The differences in men and women are more pronounced at a younger age. These findings may be surprising, but not shocking. Men happen to be more aggressive by nature, and that can lead to some serious accidents. Hats off to all the safe drivers on the road.
