Actually, it’s not a car, but a truck. It has an amazing design, but like many concept vehicles, it’s hard to fathom why it’s shaped the way it is. It’s also low. Can it take dips in the road? While impressive, designers and engineers can get too far ahead of what people can accept as reality. In fact, it’s harder to design what a car will look like in five years than it is to design what a vehicle might look like 25 years from now. While it’s impressive, how would it perform in a crash test head on?
There’s another oddity! Would it be practical for drivers to sit atop the cabin without an overhead covering? Unless, their seats are retractable. Or, is it possible the designers simply forgot to plan for it? Beautifully designed, but is it practical? And what will its competition look like when the time comes?
