Okay, this one is a mystery. Do-it-yourself mechanics (backyard mechanics), or whatever you prefer to call them, bungle the job on the hour, every hour. Changing oil should be a simple enough task, unless you allow the oil to drain on the pavement and assume that it can be washed down. This person was able to get their car up on the blocks without too much difficulty. The front end remained intact. However, backing down off the blocks, slowly, nearly took off the front end. So, where’s the disconnect?
The only explanation is their front end made contact with the blocks going up, and caught on a sharp edge on the way down. It would have been impossible for the driver not to hear or be aware of the scraping on the way up. That should have been enough warning! Well, you would think. Check out the video and see if you can rationalize the same explanation.
