The Jeep Cherokee is a tough little baby.
The jump you’re about to see wasn’t made to attempt the softest landing possible. The jump was made to see how much of a beating the Jeep Cherokee could take with a head-on landing.
On impact, it’s hard to believe this Jeeps is still in one piece. The crash just attests to the fact that Cherokees are made to survive a crash. What’s even more amazing is the gentleman who braved the jump. He exits the car with only a safety helmet on.
From 1998 to 2015, the Cherokee has proven itself to be a rugged utility vehicle that was available in both two and four-door models.
Today’s Cherokees can be depended on to deliver power, value, amazing off-road capabilities and advanced technology. They’re good on fuel economy and offer plenty of cargo space to stash all the important things. They also rank high in safety from the NHTSA in front and side collision tests.
You may not want to take a new Cherokee and test it for how well it fares in an extreme jump and crash, but it’s good to know that it’s built to withstand a major hit.
