Sometimes the elderly get into some interesting car crashes. Gratefully, no one was hurt in this video. However, it’s to his credit that he escaped unharmed. The elderly man was 85 years old, and while driving, his sandal got caught on the accelerator pedal. The vehicle slammed through the fence of a homeowner’s back yard, and into his pool. Luckily no one was out sun bathing.
Even though the vehicle was fully submerged under water, the senior citizen escaped without any injuries. He could be someone who had prior training, or, he was a superb swimmer at some time in his life. Accidents happen, and it’s how fast people can think that will often save the day. No doubt, the police investigated the incident. Could he have gotten his sandal loose, or if not, simply stepped on the brake with his other foot? It’s your call. Let us know what you think.
