Many times, a dealership will include a lifetime oil changes as a way to encourage people to buy from them. However, when a local car dealership moved a mile down the road, it decided to stop honoring several of their customer’s lifetime oil change service agreements. When these consumers tried to get the dealership to honor their promise on their own, they were told that the “oil changes are gone.” They were told that the dealership’s move had negated the service agreement.
