Many people would think the dogs only drive on roads in movies. However, this is not the case. In Glasgow, Scotland, early in the morning on April 22, a dog was actually in the driver seat of a tractor that went onto the freeway. The Courier got the information, and the dog’s name is Don. This sheepdog somehow got into the tractor cab in the early hours of the morning. It was originally in a field, but Don drove the tractor onto the M74 motorway. He eventually got the tractor into the center divider of the road, but his fun was cut short when he was collared by the cops.
Traffic Scotland is the road monitor of the nation of Scotland. They tweeted about this crazy canine adventure while it was happening, and they also got two pictures of this dog who was driving without a license.
One of the tweets was as follows: “#M74 (N) J13-RTC due to dog taking control of tractor… nope, not joking. Farmer & police at scene, vehicle in central res. #maycausetailbacks”
To Don’s credit, he did look like he was sorry for what he had done from what everyone on Twitter can see in the pictures.
