This is a study conducted by the AAA who analyzed nearly 1700 accident videos involving teens. One of the most common distractions was the driver talking with a passenger. The second biggest distraction was texting and talking on cell phones. Remember, all it takes is for a driver to take the eyes off the road for a single second. At 1:39 into the video, a young teenage girl is distracted by a text from her mother while driving. The results will drive the warning home that texting while driving should never be attempted.
