2015 Chrysler 200 2.4L PCM, Refurbished and Programmed to Your VIN
This listing sells one refurbished engine computer: the 2.4L unit for the 2015 Chrysler 200, set up with your VIN and tested before it ships. It is the powertrain control module, also called the ECM, the ECU or the engine control module.
It replaces your original module outright. We ask for your VIN after checkout, program the unit for your car and ship it once testing is done. When the new PCM is in, the old one comes back to us as your core.

Three details help us check the application: the engine under the hood, the number printed on your original module and your VIN.
- Engine: this listing is for the 2.4L four-cylinder only. A 2015 Chrysler 200 with the 3.6L V6 needs a different PCM with different part numbers.
- Part number on the label: this listing's number is 05150993. Our catalogue also carries it against the base numbers 68102888, 68102890, 68102903, 68284167, 68284168 and 68284169. Read the number off the sticker on the module you are replacing and compare it with that list.

The 3.6L V6 Uses a Different PCM
We list two PCMs for the 2015 Chrysler 200, one per engine. This one covers the 2.4L four-cylinder. The 2015 Chrysler 200 3.6L PCM covers the V6, and its part numbers share none of the numbers listed here.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 uses push-button start, and VIN programming is a separate job from the car's anti-theft setup, so do not assume one settles the other. A core that ships late can leave the replacement without coverage, unless a core charge was applied when you bought it. A missing core can trigger a charge equal to 50% of the purchase price, depending on the order terms and any core charge applied at purchase. If the replacement does not fix the fault, our return policy allows a refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase, once the return is authorized. Returned gas modules carry a 25% processing fee plus $50 for programming, so confirm the diagnosis before you order.
Car Computer Exchange does not sell new OEM or salvage modules, and we do not list a send-in repair for this PCM. Your original stays in the car until the replacement arrives.

Frequently asked questions
Does this listing include the transmission module?
No. This is the engine computer only. On the Chrysler 200, shifting is handled by a separate transmission control module (TCM), and we do not list a TCM for the 2015 car. A shifting fault needs its own diagnosis before you order anything.
Is the warranty on this PCM one year or lifetime?
Lifetime, with unlimited miles, once your original comes back as the core. If the unit fails we exchange it, up to 2 replacement units during your ownership of the car. It pays for the part only, so labor and the shipping on a warranty return are yours. They are different modules. This listing replaces the engine computer with a unit programmed to your VIN. The Totally Integrated Power Module is its own part, and that listing repairs the TIPM you send in. Confirm which module has failed before you order either one.
My 2015 Chrysler 200 won't start and shows a trouble code. Is the PCM the problem?
Not necessarily. A no-start or a stored code is not proof of a failed PCM, so get the fault confirmed before you order a replacement.
