This video shows how scary a simple tire blowout can be in an older sport utility vehicle. The car in this sixty second clip is a 1995 Jeep Wrangler. As the video shows, the driver was traveling at a safe speed along a highway until a tire blows out at around the thirty second mark.
Not surprisingly, the Jeep flips over towards the end. While these Wranglers are a lot of fun to own and drive, the older models are hazardous when it comes to losing stability and flipping over. Luckily, the passengers of the vehicle seemed to have survived with minimal injuries. Unfortunately, even a simple flip such as the one in the video is often enough to total a vehicle and possibly warp the frame.
