It’s interesting to see the cars that have graced the roads and highways for the last 100 years. The one thing for sure is that each vehicle was considered the top-of-the-line for its day. Starting with in 1910, there’s an amazing lineup of vehicles that, like today’s vehicles, strained the limits of creativity and craftsmanship. Check out the 1920 Lincoln. Ford made a snazzy vehicle that defined the next decade. The 1940s vehicles start to look familiar.

You can still see some of these vehicles on today’s roads or in car shows across the country. This is when hood ornaments were some of the most popular. The 1950s and whitewall tires, convertibles, and chrome bumpers that could smash through a brick wall without a scratch. The 1960s ushered in the muscles cars that changed everything. The Chevy Camaro was a trend setter. The 1970s and 80s opened the door for unique styling and speed. Porsche came on strong. During the 90s, there was an invasion of imports that filled car lots right up to present times. During the 2000s, we’ve seen family vehicles, off-road vehicles, luxury vehicles, and others built purely for speed. Who knows what the next 50 years will unveil!
