There’s a world record for everything under the sun. This is an amazing run. There is no deviation from a “straight” line. How does that happen? It takes skill. A lot of skill. Two factors contribute to wheel standing: axle torque, and the center of gravity. Where did the wheel stand originate? It actually was birthed by Bill “Maverick” Golden and his “Little Red Wagon.” It was a 1965 Dodge A100 pickup. Holes were cut into the bodywork and steering.
Rear brakes were individually controlled. It was an amazing Hemi-powered Dodge, mid-engine, that made its rounds for 40 years. It’s usually the case with rad conventions!
