Here’s a video of a driver that’s lucky to be alive. Watch as he passes seven cars. He passes the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth. That’s just about the time you start thinking to yourself, “When will the driver duck in behind another car?” The driver definitely has enough room. Okay! The driver continues to pass vehicles six and seven.
Then something strange happens as the driver edges beside the eighth vehicle. The driver doesn’t stop when another vehicle turns right at an intersection. The cars collide head on. There was time to brake, merge behind vehicle 8, or move to the left shoulder of the road. It’s almost as if the driver went totally number and couldn’t take their foot off the pedal. Your first thought may be that the driver was distracted. Yet, the video clearly shows that the vehicle was traveling in a straight line with balanced acceleration. Check it out. It’s your call!
